PRODUCT STEWARDSHIP MANAGER

Anderson Development Company is seeking a Product Stewardship Manager based out of our Adrian, Michigan facility.

This position is responsible for establishing plans, policies and procedures, to ensure the product stewardship/safety function meets the needs of internal and external customers.

Job Responsibilities
-
" Manage GHS/HAZCOM program. This includes conduction hazard assessments on products, intermediates and raw materials, generating SDSs and labels (potentially in multiple languages for different countries), interfacing with all internal/external stakeholders and training.

" Develop and maintain program to meet ACC Product Safety Code requirements.

" Manage program to comply with global product safety/chemical control regulations including but not limited to: TSCA, Proposition 65, Canada NSN/DSL/NDSL, EU REACH/CLP, RoHS2, Korea KECI/REACH, China REACH, Taiwan ECN/NCN, Japan CSCL and Conflict Minerals. Perform necessary reporting (e.g., TSCA CDR).

" Provide sustainability leadership including working with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., American Chemistry Council) and reporting (e.g., Eco Vadis, sustainability reports).

" Provide DOT/IATA/IMDG support.

Required Qualifications and Skills
-
" B.S. degree in Biology, Chemistry, EHS, Industrial Hygiene, Toxicology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.

" 7 yrs. or more experience in product stewardship/safety.
-
" Thorough understanding of product stewardship/safety principals.
-
" Detail oriented with strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
-
" Able to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities.
-
" Must be self-motivated and comfortable working in a team environment.
