Job Description

Sr. Grants and Contracts Administrator performs work critical to the administration of contracts and grants from federal, state, local government, non-profit, and foundation sponsors. Responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating contracts; maintain knowledge of University and sponsor policies, procedures, and regulations; monitoring for compliance; providing exceptional customer service to stakeholders; attention to detail is critical.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and negotiate contracts and grants from federal, state, and local government, non-profit and foundations sponsors.
  • Read and analyze research grants and contracts.
  • Acquire, maintain, and interpret knowledge of contractual policies and procedures, and sponsor regulations.
  • Coordinate with multiple offices within the university system to meet standards for contract compliance.
  • Work with Pre- and Post-Award staff to coordinate incoming awards and contract amendments
  • Analyzes potential solutions using technical experience, judgments and precedence, providing input and recommendations
  • Other duties as assigned.

Shift

40 hours/week. Monday thru Friday

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of excel and PeopleSoft; at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired. Experience working in higher education; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $52,915.20 - $74,484.80
Grade: GGS- 010
