2 years Application Window Open date: August 26, 2025 Next review date: Tuesday, Sep 9, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Nov 14, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Health Sciences Research Institute at the University of California, Merced, is looking to hire an Assistant Project Scientist to help with SRL (Shared Resource Laboratory) research support in the McCloskey lab. The SRL Scientist (Research Specialist) will be hired as a 100% full-time equivalent to be the primary SRL research support with required expertise in stem cell culture, characterization, differentiation, and generation of tissue models. This involves training researchers within the SRL. The project scientist will additionally assist in preparation and delivery of the course protocols and materials and may be asked to support some imaging instrumentation when those staff persons travel. PhD, experience in human stem cell culture and tissue engineering. Preferred qualifications
