The Supply Chain Supervisor will provide leadership and direction in the development of production control, capacity planning and purchasing. This role is based out of Baldwin, WI and would require this individual to be on site regularly.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance, support and metrics to staff in procurement processes & improvements.

  • Participate in supplier performances and leads team member in managing supplier base.

  • Works with operations, engineering, and management to identify new product needs and identifies opportunities to meet business requirements.

  • Works on risk mitigation around capacity planning & purchasing and actively implements plans to avoid production disruptions.

  • Manage the production planning for manufacturing in terms of short, intermediate, and long-term planning perspectives.

  • Analyze capacity issues and report to management in order to maintain a smooth operation and ensure capacity is available as needed.

  • Organize weekly/monthly capacity planning meetings to keep the operation team informed.

  • Conduct weekly/monthly master purchasing planning activities to maintain purchasing in line with the demand.

  • Drive Oracle related improvements in planning practices.

  • Works with Customers as needed to report on supply performance, forecasting and issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain, Planning or Operations or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.

  • 2+ years of Supply Chain, planning or procurement experience.

  • 2+ years of using ERP/MRP systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • APICS certification

  • Supervisor or Managerial experience

Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
