The Operational Engineering Manager will play a key role in shaping the future of our plant operations through automation, lean systems and strategic leadership. This role manages a team of high-performing engineers and technical experts to drive improvements in our operations.

Education and Experience



  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering suggested (welding or metallurgy a plus)
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (10 years minimum)
  • Experience in management/leadership (5 years minimum)
  • Excellent computer and systems skills


Essential Functions



  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of engineering and technical experts in a fast paced, collaborative and accountable environment.
  • Drive operational efficiency and performance through Theory of Constraints, Lean, 6 sigma and other methodologies.
  • Ensure alignment to product quality standard, safety protocols and regulatory compliance
  • Responsible for engineering project from concept to deployment, ensuring high quality outcomes, on time and on budget
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement solutions that improve production, quality and maintenance processes
  • Assign projects to team members and actively manager their execution to deliver on schedule and within budget, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Leverage automation, data-driven insights and emerging technology to optimize workflows and to successfully implement new processes and product lines through the business's growth
  • Handle departmental budgets and capital expenditures in alignment with operational objectives
