Phlebotomist

Duration: Temporary (4-8 Months)

Minimum of three (3) years of recent Phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to perform inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy, including Emergency Department (ED) and STAT draws.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must meet all credentialing requirements and provide documentation of immunizations, physical exams, and tuberculosis screening (Two Step TST or Blood Assay).

• Perform patient phlebotomy, including inpatient ward rounds, emergency, and timed draws.
• Execute sample processing and send-out preparation.
• Identify patients and samples prior to testing, ensuring accuracy.
• Safeguard electronic and paper patient information.
• Independently evaluate and document patient testing and Quality Control (QC) procedures.
• Resolve any collection, processing, testing, or reporting issues.
• Deliver patient-centered care in a professional manner to maintain high service standards.
