Genesis10 is currently seeking a Production / Technical Support with our client in the financial industry located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:


  • Drive effective triage leadership for all CBWT related technology and operations incidents as well as Technical Event Management
  • Monitor Enterprise level systems and providing support for Operational tasks
  • Hold business partners, subject matter experts and technical partners accountable during restoral activities, ensuring proper escalation occurs, timely and accurate business communications are created, and documentation of the incident is accurate
  • Use of monitoring tools to proactively identify and research potential production incidents, responding to alerts regarding potential production incidents, and triaging and escalating to support partners as needed for problem resolution
  • Perform trending and analysis using monitoring tools and reports to proactively identify and address potential issues prior to production impact
  • Identify opportunities for additional monitoring and automation and partner with Monitoring Architecture and Engineering to implement
  • Develop procedures for troubleshooting and possible resolution of issues as well as execute procedures reliably and escalate appropriately to solve incidents quickly
  • Responsible for handling technical events and real-time technical (application/infrastructure) triage to enable restoration of issues impacting critical business services to customers and partners in a timely manner while keeping partners advised of significant progress or challenges during the restoration period
  • Lead triage calls, ask probing questions, keep the necessary focus on restoration of services while delivering clear, concise, and timely incident communications to our CTO/CIO groups
  • Ensure all necessary teams are engaged and focused on their tasks
  • Proactive monitoring and leveraging various monitoring tools and dashboards to analyze, validate and react to application and infrastructure alerts



Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience leading incident triage and event management in a large IT operations production support environment
  • Prior Technical Generalist / Major Incident Management /Event Management experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of Splunk, DynaTrace, Netcool and other monitoring tools
  • Work well under pressure and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels
  • Able to work independently or as a part of the team
  • Proven ability to quickly gain understanding of operational or business processes, including key stakeholders, risks, and existing control mechanisms
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to quickly assess situations and make critical decisions weighing risk verses rewards under stressful conditionals
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate issues in a technical manner as well as concisely write incident communications for audiences varying in seniority and role
  • Excellent leadership and discussion facilitation skills
  • Experience using BMC Remedy, ServiceNow and Microsoft Suite of tools
  • Ability to work effectively in high pressure situations, on an ongoing basis, maintaining attention to detail
  • Diverse experience in working in complex, global, enterprise scale environments
  • Well versed in ITIL methodology
  • Familiar in the Incident Commander and Incident Command System model
  • Familiar with Enterprise level Monitoring tools and processes
  • Possess Call Leadership skillsets with an ability to verbalize and drive issues to restoration with urgency
  • Ability to digest and craft formal written communications with a blend of both technical and line of business acumen
  • Able to interpret system alerts to establish a strong starting point for technical event management
  • Customer centric mindset
  • Hands on experience with monitoring tools, dashboards, proactive health routines and Eyes on Glass model
  • Experience in application, infrastructure, and networking support
  • Flexible, with the foresight to see the need to change priorities, escalate accordingly and able to understand and communicate across diverse technical platforms
  • Familiar with ITIL methodology
  • Incident/Problem/Event Management, Release/Deployment, Operational Readiness



Desired skills:

  • Experience in .Net technologies, Windows, Linux, Oracle



Pay range: $34.18 - $42.18
