Data Conversion Functional Lead

Genesis10 is currently looking for a Data Conversion Functional Lead for a 1-year contract role with our client. 100% Remote.

Summary:

Our client is seeking a Data Conversion Functional Lead to join their Data Conversion team for a large-scale migration project, moving from the legacy system Cornerstone to Fiserv DNA. This is a high-impact, critical initiative, and the Co-Lead will serve as a partner to the current lead, sharing responsibilities, balancing workload, and stepping in as needed.

This role offers the opportunity to play a key leadership role in driving conversion success across multiple phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight for data conversion activities
• Evaluate the existing conversion/data cut playbook and recommend improvements to align with best practices.
• Develop and secure approval for data validation approaches.
• Define and propose functional validation test cases for converted customer and loan data.
• Maintain and update the hour-by-hour conversion execution plan.
• Create and gain acceptance for conversion schedules and timelines for data cuts and mock conversions.
• Establish and manage entry/exit criteria for data cuts.
• Lead and manage Go/No-Go criteria for customer teams.
• Oversee defect management processes, ensuring timely resolution.
• Support and coordinate defect triage and "war room" activities during conversions.

Experience:

• Previous leadership experience in data conversion projects.
• Proven experience in data validation and data mapping exercises.
• Hands-on management of defect protocols during conversion efforts.
• Experience managing war room activities for data conversions.
• Prior experience with Fiserv DNA conversion is strongly preferred.

Compensation:

Pay Rate: $70-$80/Hr.
