Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Plan and execute functional and automation test services Key individual contributor to Quality Assurance (QA) project teams within T&O Work with Agile project teams to ensure that standard quality practices and processes are followed As a senior member of the technical staff, assist senior business analyst, developers, and IT staff in determining the best approach for testing software Utilize in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovative ideas that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization Provide feedback and technical guidance to project managers on issues of critical importance to achieve business objectives Clearly recognized as a content expert by peers Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science 5 to 7 years of total experience in test planning and execution Working knowledge of testing standards, defect management process, and the risk framework and mitigation practices Expertise with QA Deliverables tool set - (Quality Center, SharePoint, Microsoft Project/Excel) Proficiency with test automation tool set- QTP/Selenium/Tosca Strong background in both Agile/Waterfall Methodologies Excellent oral/written communication skills Good organization skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Highly motivated, and able to work independently Strong problem/solving/analytical skill sets Excellent interpersonal skills; communicates effectively, builds strong relationships, and influences others Willingness to learn and adapt to changes SQL skills, ETL testing experience Pay Range: $50.42-$58.42 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
