HDR is seeking talented, design-oriented candidates with zero to five years of professional experience in landscape architecture to join our team!
In the role of Landscape Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
- Work under the direction of registered Landscape Architect to assist in development of site design projects, from concept design to construction documentation
- Understand that assignments have specified objectives and require investigation of many variables, including site analysis, building operation, vehicular and pedestrian traffic, site grading and storm drainage
- Conduct site visits and analysis, and assist the project Landscape Architect with illustration of design using combination of hand-drawn and computer-rendered graphics
- Provide AutoCAD production support during concept and schematic design, design development, and construction document phases
- Perform other duties as needed
The ideal candidate has:
Additional experience with the following is desirable:
- AutoCAD 2018+
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Microsoft Office
- 3D modeling in Rhino / Sketch Up
- Revit
- Preparation of construction drawings and documents
- Lumion / Enscape
- ArcMap/ArcGIS
- Bluebeam REvu
- Hand sketching

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering
- AutoCAD, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel experience
- Photoshop a plus
- Ability to prepare site plans and understand the principles of grading and drainage
- Strong oral and written communication skills
