The Opportunity

The part-time Site Advisor serves as a Worldwide Site Advisor supporting the Site Director at the the specific civilian location. The Site Advisor is responsible for both the Academic and Operational tasks of the Worldwide site including academic advising, F1 Visa (Academic Student) program management, budget, compliance, facility oversight, and University support (to include community relations). Works cooperatively with the Site Director and constituents from other departments and supports Worldwide Site Management. Coordinates and supports the Site Director with engagement and outreach activities in the community, routine compliance reviews, and University support. Works with Worldwide Advising leadership in the execution of academic policy and program changes for awareness.

Always promotes a positive University image. This position supports and promotes excellence in student services and community interaction at every opportunity throughout all U.S. locations. Participates as a team member and supports our team environment.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or completion of program of 18+ months after high school

Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:

  • Comprehend and follow instructions: maintain attention and concentration for necessary periods; apply common sense and understanding and carry out instructions (written, oral, or diagrammatic).
  • Maintain work pace appropriate to general workload: perform activities on schedule; maintain regular attendance/punctuality, within specified tolerance; complete normal workday and/or week, perform at a consistent pace without excessive rest periods.
  • Synthesize, coordinate, analyze, and act upon data in an appropriate manner.
