Your Team, Your Impact

What You Can Expect

  • Architect and design the simulator for Marvell's SSD controller SOCs.

  • Identify and document requirements for the functional simulation models.

  • Design and develop SoC IP functional models at the register level.

  • Design and develop models of various NAND flash memories.

  • Mentor simulator developers.

  • Participate in design and code reviews.

  • Evangelize simulator usage in the organization.

  • Conduct user training.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 10-15 years of related professional experience or Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5-10 years of experience.

  • 8+ years experience in programming in C/C++.

  • Experience in developing and using simulators.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience debugging using interactive debuggers, in-circuit emulators, JTAG debuggers, ETM, etc.

  • Familiarity in Hardware Abstraction Layer development or similar hardware-touching feature development.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in SSD firmware development.

  • Knowledge of NVMe, ONFI and TOGGLE protocols.

  • 5+ years of experience in Hardware Abstraction Layer development or similar hardware-touching feature development highly preferred.

  • 2+ years of Python programming experience.

  • Synopsys Virtualizer, QEMU or Wind River SIMICS-based model development experience.

  • 2+ years of modeling experience using SystemC/C++/DML.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

75,740 - 113,500, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
