The Director, Marketing & Corporate Communications will direct, oversee and play a "hands-on" role within our Marketing & Communications department. This individual will design, implement and monitor effective marketing & communications strategies and brand recognition that align with our business goals. This position is deadline driven; requiring agility in delivery scheduling and meeting deadlines.

Our ideal candidate has a solid Marketing & Communications background and work experience managing a variety of high visibility projects end-to-end, including advertising/marketing campaigns, digital marketing techniques, brand expansion and corporate communications. Our Director, Marketing & Communications will report directly to the SVP Business Development and will oversee the Constellis Marketing & Communications team. To be successful in this role, you should be highly professional and a self-starter. You will also play a significant role shaping the company's strategic marketing and communications plan. The role is highly visible requiring strategic marketing analytics capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness
  • Set current and long-term goals for internal team
  • Support Constellis and Constellis companies marketing and communications requirements
  • Develops Constellis corporate quarterly electronic communications magazine "the Constellis Connection" for internal and customer facing
  • Coordinates with professional external communications and graphics personnel to coordinate website, social media and corporate brand messaging
  • Design and review the Marketing/Communications department's budget
  • Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies as approved
  • Develop, manage and implement corporate communications and crisis management plan working with executive leadership
  • Develop, Monitor and evaluate thru analytics all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary
  • Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the SVP BD
  • Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
  • Forecast needs for the Marketing/Communications department
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company's objectives
  • Track competitors' activities and provide recommendations to the SVP BD
  • Develop, implement and monitor social media marketing and brand monitoring program; analyze effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Proven 15 years work experience as a Director of Marketing/Communications
  • BS degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field; Related Master's Degree preferred
  • Proven maturity and experience dealing directly with major media outlets and message management
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing and social media marketing campaigns
  • Experience working with political officials to developing positive relationships that build corporate credibility and confidence
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Corporate communications and crisis communications management experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, however, some extended or weekend hours may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
