This position is to support Department of Interior's (DOI) Mission Support: Operational Efficiencies and Experiences project with the implementation of technology solutions and tools, and business process management to support a range of mission-critical, strategic goals and objectives. All areas involve the utilization of agile methodologies and continuous integration practices; resulting in adaptable technologies and business processes that can evolve with the Government's strategic direction and objectives. This position also supports unique mission requirements with emphasis being placed on scalability, interoperability, accessibility, and long-term sustainability that are adaptable to changes in federal policy and/or Government mission requirements.

Seneca Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Developer to provide a unique blend of technical development skills and business analysis acumen. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business applications and automation solutions using leading Low-Code/No-Code platforms (LC/NC) platforms. The candidate will work directly with government stakeholders to understand their challenges, gather requirements, and translate mission-critical needs into functional and efficient software solutions, contributing directly to the modernization and efficiency of government operations.

This position is aremote position. This is a full-time employment opportunity, and the candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and must be able to complete/pass/hold a moderate public trust investigation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Design, configure, and develop applications, workflows, and automations using enterprise LC/NC platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Appian, etc.).
  • Collaborate with federal clients and internal teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
  • Translate complex business needs into technical specifications and solution designs within the capabilities of the LC/NC platform.
  • Work with Analysts to create wireframes, mockups, and functional prototypes to demonstrate application functionality and ensure a positive user experience for government end-users.
  • Configure data models, connect to various data sources (e.g., SharePoint, SQL databases, APIs), and ensure data integrity within the developed applications.
  • Conduct unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshoot issues to ensure solutions are reliable, secure, and meet federal compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for end-users and system administrators.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and iterative enhancements for deployed applications and solutions.


Basic Qualifications:



  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, as mandated by our government client.
  • Must be able to complete/pass/hold a moderate public trust investigation.
  • 6+ years of experience.
  • BS/BA degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related IT discipline preferred.
  • Software Development experience within Federal Enterprise environment preferred.
  • Experience mitigating cyber security risks.
  • Experience with user management (creating users, roles, assign privileges), troubleshoot errors, develop and test reconciliation routines to perform data clean up.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
