Overview

We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Director, Email Marketing, to lead high-impact email campaigns that drive agent engagement and revenue growth. This role is ideal for a performance-focused marketer with deep expertise in lifecycle email strategy, segmentation, and optimization with B2B marketing experience. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.



Responsibilities

    Own end-to-end email marketing strategy, including segmentation, content development, testing, deployment, and performance analysis.
  • Develop and execute lifecycle campaigns for onboarding, retention, reactivation, and cart recovery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, UX) to align email efforts with broader business goals.
  • Manage multi-brand email programs for non-P&C, ensuring consistency and compliance across multiple audiences.
  • Conduct A/B testing and data analysis to continuously improve open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue attribution.
  • Update audience lists, ensure list hygiene for optimal deliverability and performance, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain distribution calendars and coordinate with social content to support email initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA regulations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest email marketing trends, tools and best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Keeps current with market trends and demands.


Qualifications

Required:

  • 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing, with a strong focus on lifecycle strategy and performance optimization.
  • Proven success in increasing email engagement and revenue through targeted campaigns and testing.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and analytics dashboards - specifically HubSpot
  • Strong copywriting, content & .html skills.
  • Familiarity with UX principles and customer experience design.

Preferred:

  • Experience managing high-volume promotional campaigns and enterprise email programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable results, including YoY revenue growth and improved engagement metrics.
  • Insurance industry experience and knowledge.

The salary range for this role is $125,000-$155,000/year. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Scottsdale. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics. This range may be modified in the future.
