Position Overview:

The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in delivering financial and operational analytics, reporting, and insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The Financial Analyst is responsible for documenting, streamlining, and overseeing the commission process across regions. This individual will partner closely with sales leadership, accounting, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in financial processes.

A Day in the Life of the Financial Analyst:

• Document, manage, and oversee the manual commission process across all regions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Define and implement process improvements to streamline commission calculations, reporting, and workflows.
• Partner with market sales leaders and accounting teams to validate commission data and ensure accurate and timely commission payments.
• Prepare and maintain regular reporting to provide visibility into commission expenses and sales performance.
• Assist with monthly financial results analysis, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the transition of the automated commissions process from the Markets to SPIFF.
• Assist with budget and forecast processes by providing data-driven insights and analysis.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports, presentations, and financial documentation for both internal and external teams as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or a related area; telecommunications or media industry experience preferred.
• Previous experience Financial Analysis and Reporting is a plus.
• Superior working knowledge of Microsoft office operating systems and applications including Access Databases, Excel, PowerPoint, Great Plains, Hyperion/SmartView, SQL, or equivalent experience.
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly communicate with all levels of staff and outside parties both written and verbally.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and supervisory skills, attention to detail and hands-on work style.
• Team orientation, ability to function effectively in a fast paced dynamic environment.
  

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.

Base Salary: The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 (annually), plus opportunities for bonus and benefits. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
