MRM is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Assistant Media Buyer to join our Partnerships team in New York. In this role, you'll be responsible for negotiating, executing, and managing custom media partnerships across publishers, content creators, influencers, sponsorships, and branded content platforms. You'll work closely with planning, strategy, and analytics teams to ensure partnership activations align with client goals, deliver strong value, and foster lasting relationships.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in integrated or digital media buying who has a passion for innovative brand partnerships and an eye for emerging media opportunities.

In This Role, You Will:

* Execute and manage custom media buys, including sponsorships, branded content, influencer programs, and event/media partnerships

* Negotiate rates, value-add opportunities, and deliverables with media vendors and publishers

* Collaborate with media planners and strategists to ensure buys align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines

* Work with internal teams (creative, legal, analytics) and external partners to manage timelines, assets, and contract deliverables

* Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights and optimizations to improve effectiveness

* Maintain strong vendor relationships and stay informed on new partnership opportunities, media trends, and platform innovations

* Support partnership innovation by identifying unique platforms and media solutions for clients

What We Are Looking For:

* Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Media, Communications, or related field

* Understanding of publisher media, branded content, and influencer marketing

* Experience working with media platforms, influencer tools, and digital media vendors

* Ability to manage timelines, with high attention to detail

* Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint

* A passion for creative media solutions and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset

The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $55,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
