Now Hiring: Health Information Management (HIM) Specialist Kokomo, IN \| 6-Month Contract with potential for extension/going direct \| $16.00-$17.50/hr Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about healthcare operations? Join a dynamic team as a Health Information Management (HIM) Specialist, where your precision and efficiency will directly support patient care and medical record integrity. What You'll Do * Prepare, scan, index, and retrieve medical documents * Reconcile accounts and manage document workflows * Answer phones and support health information processes * Perform quality reviews and ensure accurate document sequencing What We're Looking For 1-2 years of experience in medical records management Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word) Strong attention to detail, time management, and memorization skills Ability to work under pressure and maintain a steady pace Work Environment * Location: Kokomo, IN 46901 * Shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM * Breaks: Two 15-minute breaks + 30-minute lunch * Occasional overtime based on workflow Why Apply? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
