Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is a Partner of Choice for the Nebraska University System. Our Interns work a hybrid schedule and spend some days working on-site at our Omaha office located in Aksarben Village. Therefore, you will need to live within commuting distance from June 1, 2026 - July 31, 2026.

The Sales Associate Intern will gain knowledge and hands-on-experience working on a variety of Sales and Account Management projects side by side with experienced Account and Sales Executive professionals to help retain, grow and strategize. You'll utilize your passion for people, curiosity, and problem-solving skills to help Sales and Account Management navigate and work through essential programs and execute strategic goals.

What you'll do:

  • Support a wide variety of projects to include: assisting Account Executives with retention of current BCBSNE customer base, supporting Sales Executives in the new sale process, identifying and executing on implementation of growth strategies, collaborate with peers across BCBSNE to deliver "value add" services to our customer base.

  • Help to formulate and implement business plans and annual reviews for our customer base and broker partners; comfortable with client-facing meetings and delivering presentations both to internal and external business partners.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Currently enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in business administration, or related field.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
