Job Description

SUMMARY
This is an opportunity in the sales group to manage titanium supply for significant contracts. Communicate with customers, sub-contractors, account managers, Q.A., inventory/production planners, and mill operations. Strong interpersonal skills, computer proficiency, attention to detail, and strong math skills are required. Located in Toronto, Ohio.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage customer demand:
Convert customer supplied forecast into a usable Excel format (pivot tables, graphs).
Analyze data, identify and scrutinize significant variances
Rectify variance concerns with customer & applicable TIMET team members.
Convert forecasted demand into SAP scheduling contracts.
Review SAP inventory & replenishment scenarios to assure support of customer demand
Problem solve & expedite mill replenishment to address potential shortfalls
Act as primary liaison between customer & TIMET team members... i.e. Sales, Q.A. Inventory & Production
Planning
Scrutinize & reconcile customers supplier scorecard
Coordination / order management for participating sub-contractors
Expedient processing of customer purchase orders / releases
Expedite critical customer orders & mill replenishment
Initiate customer offers for deviated material
Understanding of how the customer's quality requirements relate to TIMET's capabilities.
Face to face customer contact to ensure details of contract are fulfilled

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred. Having equivalent years of experience
will be considered.
Prior experience in supply chain management, preferably in a metals manufacturing environment.
Experience with administration and/or management of contracts which incorporates forecasting and performance
metric analysis.
Experience in managing projects that address schedule, resource planning, identification & problem resolution
while maintaining a hands-on approach.

SPECIAL SKILLS
APICS Certification
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required
SAP experience
