Job Duties: Associate, Trading with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Profitably manage upwards of $10bn gross notional daily associated with the open and closing auction through Goldman Sachs' One Delta Closing Facility (ODCF). Understand the create redeem mechanism in relation to exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and profitably take on / unwind risk on the back of these types of trades. Communicate and develop relationships with desk clients and internal desks to best understand how to service them and grow business. Profitably make markets by showing bids and offers on large stock baskets/portfolios to institutional clients. Develop and maintain profitability analytics and strategies across thousands of securities. Analyze a high number of historical trades with a given client and find systematic ways to achieve best trading strategy utilizing programming, statistics, and finance skills. Trade futures and other derivative instruments to hedge portfolios. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Financial Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years with: trading Equities, Futures and exchange traded funds (ETFs) in developed and emerging markets in the Americas; working with >$3 billion notional equity programs; working with developing relationships with sales team and clients to grow business and find profit opportunities; working with sorting through large data sets to guide desk interactions and trading; and working with routing to and interacting with >$1 billion notional in the Open and Closing auctions. Travel required approximately 3-4 times a year to meet with clients. Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York -based position is $156,000 - $194,000.
