Intralox, L.L.C. is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for the Systems Design and Development Team in Hanover, MD. This individual will support the development of conveyance solutions using our Activated Roller Belt (ARB) technology to support one of the strategic segments within the Logistic & Material Handling platforms. As a Product Development Engineer in this role, you will focus on developing new product initiatives or enhancements to existing platforms, guided by strategic roadmaps.


Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities:
*Support the ideation of new products by determining engineering specifications from customer requirements and validating proofs of concept using analytics and/or physical tests.
*Collaborate and coordinate within a multi-disciplined global team including project managers, controls engineers, assembly technicians, and test engineers.
*Develop new products by designing new and maintaining existing components, assemblies, and full systems, using best practices and documenting work.
*Streamline the order execution process by supporting the implementation of design automation strategies such as Design Configurator models, overcomplete CAD models, and user guides.
*Facilities the function of surrounding teams by quickly and accurately responding to engineering support requests pertaining to assigned products.
*Continuously improve the team by documenting and developing best practices and processes.
*Build an in-depth understanding of Intralox' Activated Roller Belt Technology.
Requirements:
*5+ years of experience in industrial machine design.
*BS in Mechanical Engineering or other related field.
*Proficient at creating detailed parts, weldments, assemblies, and installation drawings.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Computer proficiency in 3D CAD and PDM workspace.
*Travel required (up to 10%).
*Self-Managed with a strong sense of ownership.
*Hands on with a strong mechanical aptitude.
*The position is in our Intralox office in Hanover, MD.
Desired Qualifications:
*Autodesk Inventor experience, especially in sheet metal design.
*PTC Windchill experience.
*Conveyor equipment design preferred.
*Knowledgeable of stage and gate style Development Process, such as but not limited to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
*Familiar with SCRUM methodology.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills. The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans
Salary Range $66,000 to $168,600.
