Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Change Management Specialist to drive successful adoption, implementation, and sustainability of IT-related and AI initiatives. This role will focus on ensuring technology changes support organizational goals while effectively managing stakeholder expectations and fostering end-user adoption.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Technology Change Alignment

  • Ensure technology changes support broader organizational goals
  • Develop frameworks to assess change impacts across IT functions
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish priorities and vision

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

  • Create comprehensive communication plans for IT initiatives and enhancements
  • Manage expectations across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Build change networks to drive adoption throughout the organization
  • Develop targeted communication plans explaining the "why," "what," and "how" of changes
  • Utilize diverse channels (emails, webinars, town halls, training sessions) for communications

End-user Adoption and Training

  • Design role-based training programs for new technologies
  • Develop job aids and instructional artifacts for Enterprise IT and AI-related projects
  • Create self-service resources and knowledge repositories to support adoption
  • Assess skill gaps and provide hands-on support as needed

Change Governance and Leadership

  • Run Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Technical Advisory Board (TAB) meetings weekly
  • Evaluate and approve proposed changes using established frameworks
  • Implement ITIL-aligned change management procedures
  • Create and apply risk assessment frameworks for technology changes

Organizational Readiness and Monitoring

  • Conduct impact assessments across affected departments
  • Develop strategies to address resistance to technological change
  • Track key performance indicators related to adoption rates and impact
  • Gather feedback and make real-time adjustments to change plans
  • Implement post-go-live reinforcement strategies to sustain change

This role will be instrumental in building organizational resilience for continuous transformation and ensuring that IT-driven innovations are successfully integrated into the organizational culture and workflows.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field OR equivalent work experience. BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies and frameworks
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization

Preferred:

  • Change Management certification (PROSCI, ACMP, or equivalent)
  • Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, CSM)
  • Project management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in change management with focus on technology implementations

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and credibility
  • Adaptability and resilience when facing resistance to change
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Data-driven approach to measuring and reporting on change adoption
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
