The School of Arts and Sciences (

Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Manager,
SPVR (Administrative Operations) for the The Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology within the School of Arts and Sciences. The Manager,
SPVR (Administrative Operations) is responsible for developing and implementing the administrative network used to support and enhance CCB's large and complex academic program. The incumbent will work closely with the
CCB Chair, Vice Chairs, Director and Associate Director - Financial Operations to achieve this.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Develops and oversees academic personnel management, outreach, and marketing and communications for the Department.
- Develops and delivers administrative processes related to CCB's academic and research programs, including faculty hiring, promotions, visa sponsorship, and student appointments.
- Develops and delivers administrative systems and processes related to graduate admissions and graduate and undergraduate recruitment and student affairs - including ensuring a basic level of staff support for instructional programs and course scheduling.
- Handles outreach, communication and marketing including stakeholder management and department event planning.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- A bachelor's degree in science, education, business, management or related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant academic and/or research program management experience with two of the years of people and program management experience.
