Lead Product Designer - Job Description Overview Join a dynamic team that builds user-centric B2B and proof-of-concept digital products for a high-profile media organization. We operate in a highly collaborative environment, with designers contributing across multiple projects and business units. As a Lead Product Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing digital products that support both internal operations and external-facing experiences, including well-known entertainment brands. You'll also have the opportunity to network and collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams. Key Responsibilities UX/UI Design * Translate complex business needs and user research insights into wireframes, high-fidelity interactive prototypes, and production-ready assets. * Leverage and contribute to design systems to create native experiences across web and mobile platforms. User Research & Design Thinking * Assist in framing research goals and objectives. * Conduct primary user research to uncover unmet needs, pain points, and motivations. * Identify key patterns and trends from interviews, feedback, and data. * Synthesize and present research findings through thematic insights, user journeys, workflows, and other artifacts. * Facilitate internal workshops using design thinking methodologies to guide teams from ideation to prototyping. Design Systems * Use Figma design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across projects. Advanced Prototyping * Apply variables, conditionals, and expressions to create interactive and efficient prototypes. * Utilize master components, instances, and variants for reusable design elements. * Use Auto Layout for responsive designs and complex layouts. Collaboration & Teamwork * Collaborate with stakeholders, product, design, and development teams to integrate findings into projects. * Adapt to diverse team environments and evolving project needs. Required Skills & Qualifications * Advanced Figma Expertise * Primary tool for layout, prototyping, and visual communication. * Experience designing from and contributing to design libraries. * Strong Visual Design Portfolio * Demonstrates engaging design and problem-solving. * Includes examples of data- and task-centric interfaces. * Information & Data Synthesis * Ability to visually represent data for stakeholder communication. Preferred Qualifications * Experience designing enterprise products. * Background in software design and development. * Experience in media or entertainment industries. * Branding and graphic design experience across various media formats. Additional Details * Location: Burbank, CA (Hybrid: Tues-Thurs in-office) * Experience Level: Expert (Ideally 6+ years) * Interview Process: * First-round screening with Hiring Manager and Design Lead * Second-round interview with VP Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $92.00/hr.
