  • Collaborate with the Office of Physical Plant (OPP) and other campus units to address maintenance, custodial, and facility repair needs.

  • Ensure daily readiness of public and sacred spaces, maintaining a clean, orderly, and accessible environment for all users.

  • Conduct regular inspections and manage inventory of furnishings, ceremonial items, and A/V equipment.

Project and Renovation Coordination:

  • Support facility and event space improvement projects by coordinating logistics, vendor access, and communication between stakeholders.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Maintain awareness of all building safety procedures, accessibility standards, and compliance regulations related to event management and facility usage.

  • Serve as building emergency coordinator and respond to urgent operational issues.

Community Relations:

  • Liaise with student organizations, campus departments, and external groups to facilitate respectful, inclusive use of the space.

  • Build positive working relationships with community partners, interfaith leaders, and student event planners.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in event planning, coordination, or venue operations.

  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage complex logistics in a multi-use facility.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event scheduling or facilities management software (e.g., EMS, 25Live).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of policies and procedures related to facilities management.

Working Conditions

  • Regular office hours with occasional evening or weekend work to support events.
