Job Description

As the Central OEM Director, you will manage the activities of professional direct sales or technical sales positions. Attains sales objectives for branch/area. Manages the direct sale of products or services within the global OEM segment and supports geographic teams as they drive OEM sales in their own regions. You will report to the Regional Vice President, Central Region and work either in a hybrid environment from one of our Rockwell Automation office locations or remotely depending on your location.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the overall business growth within the assigned accounts and the OEM segment as a whole
  • you will be responsible for Account Strategy/Planning development
  • Sell using Outcome-based selling methodology and resources. Teach and manage teams to utilize same competencies and tactics
  • Create Sales Opportunities (funnel) and drive opportunities to closure within accounts and across the OEM segment as a whole
  • Support Account Managers and Sales Specialist to win pursuits aligned with the Account Strategy and/or segment strategy
  • Responsible for selling and expanding footprint of growth initiatives portfolio.
  • Leverage Partners and Ecosystem to sell CORE portfolio and ensure share of wallet growth.
  • Engage and orchestrate multifunctional team (Domain Experts, BU, Sales Specialists) to support opportunities pursuits.
  • Sales Discipline, Enablement & General Activities
  • Drive sales discipline within account team by holding accountability to high fidelity information within DCRM following Sales Process guidelines
  • Enablement (70/20/10 - Enablement Programs)
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or a related field
  • 8+ years of management experience.
  • Sales experience either directly within multiple regions
  • Experience translating the value of automation/information offerings to OEM customers by leveraging segment knowledge.
  • Proven track record of managing large, strategic, and/or global accounts while achieving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics, Salesforce).
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.
