We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Global Business Systems Manager to oversee the lifecycle and governance of our global ERP platforms - Epicor, IFS, and Oracle. This role will lead a team of approximately seven professionals, managing the operation, optimization, and compliance of our core systems across multiple regions.

Will also lead systems-related workstreams in support of mergers, acquisitions, and divestments,
ensuring clean data, seamless integrations, and robust documentation. The role requires strong cross functional collaboration, vendor management, and meticulous record-keeping of system data and support
structures.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a global team (~7) responsible for ERP/business systems support, development, and configuration.

  • Establish clear team goals and KPIs aligned with business strategy.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Systems Management

  • Oversee Epicor, IFS, and Oracle platforms to ensure stability, scalability, and alignment with business requirements.

  • Define and deliver system roadmaps, upgrades, integrations, and optimization initiatives.

  • Manage system configuration, data integrity, security, and performance monitoring.

  • Maintain a comprehensive system inventory:

    • Versions, releases, and patch levels

    • License models, license counts, and entitlements

    • Support contracts, renewal dates, SLAs

    • Deployment models and support ownership

    • Validate and audit all system records on a regular cadence (e.g., quarterly).

Data Collection & Governance

  • Establish and enforce best practices for master data management, data collection, and validation across systems.

  • Ensure system documentation is complete, accurate, and regularly reviewed.

  • Support reporting and analytics by enabling reliable access to clean, structured data.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with system vendors, consultants, and integrators.

  • Lead vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and performance reviews.

  • Act as the key liaison between IT and business teams, translating needs into system solutions.

Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestments

  • Represent Business Systems in M&A and divestiture projects.

  • Conduct due diligence on system landscapes, integrations, and licensing impacts.

  • Drive ERP integration or separation planning, execution, and data migration efforts.

  • Ensure data retention, compliance, and auditability during and after transitions.

Project & Change Management

  • Lead or support delivery of ERP-related projects and change initiatives across departments and geographies.

  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure delivery on time, within scope and budget.

  • Maintain change control procedures and manage risk appropriately.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience managing complex ERP or business systems environments globally.

  • Proven leadership of technical teams and external partners/vendors.

  • Deep understanding of Epicor, IFS, and Oracle - functional and technical.

  • Experience participating in M&A and divestment activities, especially systems/data workstreams.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise data structures and data governance best practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage system records and perform regular validation of software assets.

  • Track record of delivering systems projects on time and to spec.

  • Familiarity with license management, audits, and compliance.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Degree in Information Technology, Systems Management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain-heavy organizations.

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) a plus.

  • Familiarity with BI/reporting tools and system integrations (e.g., EDI, API frameworks).

*Occasional travel may be required to meet project or business needs (international locations possible)
