FPGA Verification Engineer

STS Technical Services is hiring an FPGA Verification Engineer in Arlington, Virginia.

Our client is a trusted partner to U.S. government missions, providing cybersecurity, secure communications, and systems verification. They are seeking a highly experienced FPGA Verification Engineer with deep expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM to help ensure the quality, security, and reliability of next-generation defense technologies.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with design teams, build automated test environments, and perform critical verification work that directly impacts national security.

• Develop UVM-based verification environments
  
• Create and execute detailed verification test plans
  
• Implement coverage-driven verification methodologies
  
• Collaborate with RTL developers to ensure design quality and functionality
  
• Develop automated test frameworks to streamline verification processes
  
• Document verification results and coverage metrics for program reporting
  

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  
• Minimum of 7 years of FPGA verification experience
  
• Expert-level knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM
  
• Proficiency with simulation and verification tools
  
• Strong background in testbench development
  
• Active TS//SCI clearance required
  

• Experience with formal verification methods
  
• Familiarity with networking protocols
  
• Background in hardware security verification
