  • Completion of a BA/BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or comparable experience in lieu of degree
  • At least 12 years of related work experience

    • An advanced degree (MS or MBA) may substitute 1-2 years of related work experience


  • Technical knowledge of nuclear plant primary system design, operation and maintenance
  • Knowledge of nuclear plant requirements for outage services
  • Knowledge of Framatome products to support identified nuclear plant outage services
  • Skills in analysis of Framatome services portfolio versus customer needs to identify gaps
  • Ability to present technical innovations to customers and securing opportunities for Framatome to implement the technologies

  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in portfolio/product management, strategic growth, or R&D-driven commercialization in nuclear, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, energy, or other highly regulated industries.

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. This position has a preferred location in Boston, MA with the potential for remote work with a base in San Diego, CA, Pittsburgh, PA, or Chicago, IL. Framatome is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Market & Portfolio Strategy Leader to drive the growth and commercialization of our Nuclear Instrumentation & Control (I&C) portfolio across North America. This role combines market insight, portfolio leadership, and execution to deliver measurable impact in safety systems, non-safety systems, and control room modernization for U.S. and Canadian nuclear plants. This role is ideal for leaders with experience in highly regulated, safety-critical, and cutting-edge industries, including nuclear, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, energy, or industrial automation, who can translate technology innovation into market success. You will leverage Framatome's Customer Excellence Centers, global manufacturing footprint, and next-generation technologies, Safety HMI/SCADA platforms, full-scope simulators, digital twins, and predictive analytics to deliver measurable outcomes-reducing downtime, improving operator efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Portfolio Leadership

    • Develop and execute a North America growth plan, covering legacy platforms and next-generation I&C solutions.
    • Drive portfolio strategy for lifecycle extension, digital modernization, uprates, and SMR/advanced reactor I&C systems.
    • Translate market trends and regulatory changes into concrete go-to-market initiatives with measurable revenue, adoption, and margin targets.


  • Customer & Market Engagement

    • Lead technical workshops, system demonstrations, and early adopter programs with utility engineering and operations teams.
    • Capture voice-of-customer insights to inform product design and solution enhancements with measurable ROI.
    • Monitor NRC/CNSC and utility regulatory updates to anticipate market needs and adjust portfolio positioning.


  • Performance & Growth Management

    • Define and track KPIs: revenue growth, margin improvement, market share, backlog health, and customer satisfaction.
    • Lead quarterly portfolio reviews to prioritize high-impact programs, incorporating R&D inputs and retiring underperforming products.
    • Present data-driven insights and recommendations to executive leadership on investments, commercialization, and market expansion.


  • Commercial Enablement & Operational Alignment

    • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to create targeted messaging, technical collateral, ROI calculators and campaign materials that highlight portfolio and technology differentiators and operational benefits.
    • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery, nuclear quality compliance, and supply resilience.
    • Align portfolio offerings with Framatome's global design, testing, and manufacturing capabilities for cost efficiency, scalability, and consistent customer experience

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $143,000 - $194,000 and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
