Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategicBusiness Systems Training & Tools Leader to support enterprise-wide simplification and transformation initiatives. This role will be responsible for curating consistent value stream maps (VSMs), capturing outputs from Kaizen events, and maintaining a centralized business systems repository. The ideal candidate will partner cross-functionally, especially with IT, to identify scalable solutions that drive efficiency and reduce waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Value Stream Mapping & Documentation
    • Curate and maintain consistent VSMs across functions to identify waste, scale opportunities, and resource needs.
    • Prioritize efforts using a structured impact model (e.g., P&L size or Resources O Waste = Potential Impact).
    • Capture outputs from Kaizen events and ensure documentation is standardized and accessible.
  • Future-State Design & Repository Management
    • Define and document future and end-state value streams aligned with enterprise goals.
    • Develop and manage a centralized business systems repository (tool vs. one-off documents) to support a "pull model" for future access and use.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with IT and other stakeholders to identify and implement enterprise-wide solutions.
    • Ensure alignment between functional needs and broader business system capabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Support ongoing simplification efforts by identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities across value streams.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on VSM analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, IT, or related field; Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in process improvement, business systems analysis, or operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of value stream mapping, Kaizen methodology, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience with business systems tools and repositories (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, or custom platforms).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture and IT systems integration.
  • Ability to translate complex processes into clear, actionable documentation.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments with competing priorities.
