Location: Indianapolis Employment Type: Contract to hire Workplace Type: Hybrid x4 days onsite Engagement Type: W2 - Cannot do C2C About the Role We're seeking a skilled and proactive VDI Systems Administrator to join our agile infrastructure team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in virtual desktop environments, particularly VMware Horizon View. You'll play a key part in maintaining and evolving our VDI infrastructure to support a dynamic and growing user base. Responsibilities * Administer and maintain a Horizon View environment, including: * Spinning up new desktop pools * Managing FSLogix profile containers * Configuring and supporting Cloud Gateway * Collaborate on the transition and expansion into Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) * Support multiple VM configurations tailored to diverse user scenarios * Troubleshoot Tier 3+ issues across VDI platforms * Partner with team members to design, build, and scale VDI solutions * Ensure security, performance, and compliance across virtual desktop environments * Document processes, configurations, and architectural decisions Required Skills * VMware Horizon View * FSLogix * VMware * VDI architecture and administration * System administration in Microsoft environments Qualifications * 4-5 years of hands-on experience in VDI environments * Proven experience building and scaling Horizon View infrastructure * Exposure to cloud-based VDI strategies, * Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills * Experience in a Microsoft-centric environment * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small, agile team What We Offer * A collaborative and forward-thinking team * Opportunities to work on cutting-edge cloud and virtualization technologies * A culture that values innovation, autonomy, and continuous learning Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
