Your Impact You will work in our McKinsey Client Capability Network (CCN) in Boston, as a part of the Banking team within the Panorama Financial Institutions and Insights consulting (PFIC). As a part of PFIC NA Banking team, you will support consulting teams on client engagements with research requirements on banking related topics. This will include consolidating data across multiple sources, developing unique perspectives, creating client ready materials and other tasks as needs arise. You will conduct primary and secondary research within the Banking's domain using proprietary and third-party data sources. You will be responsible for packaging research findings in the form of client ready end products which could be power point presentations and/or financial models. Over time, you will be expected to develop expertise within the topic of banking and drive research and development of new knowledge as well as contribute to broader knowledge development and proprietary assets. Additionally, you will be an active member of the global PFIC community and develop relationships around the globe to build on your knowledge and provide support to the broader network as needed. PFIC is one of the largest knowledge and analytics teams globally and part of the FIG practice, with 240 members and a global footprint across 30+ countries, focusing on financial services domains, e.g., Retail banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, Fintech and Insurance. The Retail Banking team within PFIC also has a global footprint, with members based across Brazil, France, New York, Costa Rica and India. Your qualifications and skills A graduate degree in business, finance, economics, or another relevant field accompanied by demonstrable analytics abilities 1+ years of experience working in financial institutions, research agencies or digital strategy consulting Outstanding collegiate academic record with superior problem-solving and analytical capabilities Knowledge of the North American financial sector Solid understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts Strong communications skills in English Please review the additional requirements regarding essential job functions of McKinsey colleagues.
