Job ID: 99296

Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges-the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you've come to the right place.
Your Impact
As an Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the success of our senior leaders and firm partners, by providing strategic administrative support in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. At McKinsey, we collaborate with clients to reshape industries and institutions through technology and innovation, addressing some of the most urgent challenges of our time. Your contributions will directly support our mission to create lasting, positive change.
In this role, you will partner closely with senior leaders to optimize their time, foster trust-based relationships within their networks, and cultivate your own. Serving as a strategic liaison, you will engage with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders, while maintaining the confidentiality of highly sensitive information. Key responsibilities include orchestrating, managing, and maintaining complex calendars and travel arrangements, as well as planning client and internal meetings, conferences, and events. With minimal guidance, you will serve as a trusted deputy, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Your proactive mindset will drive impactful change for your Partners, the firm, and your professional growth.
This position is ideal for experienced professionals with a background in executive support, corporate administration, or similar fields who are ready to elevate their careers in administration and make a significant impact at McKinsey. Success at McKinsey means being a team player-tackling challenges together and advancing as a group. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative Global Administration team based in Tampa, benefiting from in-person learning and camaraderie while supporting colleagues across regions.
Your Growth
You are someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, bringing a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to tackle meaningful challenges that have a real impact.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities to help you quickly broaden your expertise, grow into a well-rounded professional, and contribute to work that truly makes a difference.
When you join us, you will have:
  • Continuous learning: Our learning and apprenticeship culture, backed by structured programs, is all about helping you grow while creating an environment where feedback is clear, actionable, and focused on your development. The real magic happens when you take the input from others to heart and embrace the fast-paced learning experience, owning your journey.
  • A voice that matters: From day one, we value your ideas and contributions. You'll make a tangible impact by offering innovative ideas and practical solutions. We not only encourage diverse perspectives, but they are critical in driving us toward the best possible outcomes.
  • Global community: With colleagues across 65+ countries and over 100 different nationalities, our firm's diversity fuels creativity and helps us come up with the best solutions. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to learn from exceptional colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Exceptional benefits: In addition to a competitive salary (based on your location, experience, and skills), we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, mental health, and vision coverage for you, your spouse/partner, and children.
Your qualifications and skills
  • University degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in roles involving complex calendar management, travel coordination, and scheduling across time zones, preferably in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume email correspondence, draft professional responses, and manage follow-ups with discretion.
  • Strong customer service orientation, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and discretion in building trust-based relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset, working effectively across teams, regions, and levels of seniority to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Self-motivated and driven, taking ownership of tasks and seeking opportunities to add value and improve processes.
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced environments, with strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to prioritize demands effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational excellence, ensuring accuracy and structure in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.
  • Professional presence and polished communication skills, representing senior leaders with confidence, discretion, and tact.
