Sr. Reverse Engineer w/Poly

BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Reverse Engineer to support innovative and mission-critical projects. In this role, you will design, develop, prototype, modify, and integrate solutions to deliver mission-centric results. You will collaborate closely with analysts, operators, data scientists, and software engineers to provide tactical mission support. This fast-paced and dynamic environment requires a flexible, highly motivated engineer with a strong desire to learn new skills and address evolving challenges critical to national security.

• Enhance and augment existing toolsets to meet mission requirements.
• Derive, document, and analyze technical and operational requirements.
• Build prototypes to demonstrate understanding of mission needs.
• Develop and deliver end-to-end toolsets that operate within mission constraints.
• Collaborate with customer leadership to build strong relationships and enable mission success

• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years of experience.
  • An additional 4 years of software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph (required).
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience developing Computer Network Operations (CNO) software for Linux, Windows, and embedded applications.
  • Proficiency in reverse engineering, particularly with tools like Ghidra.
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining fielded software systems.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Subversion.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Mindset:
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and systems to meet evolving mission objectives.

• Experience with additional programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, Bash, Assembly (x86/x64), PowerShell, Perl, C#, and Rust.
• Expertise in vulnerability research and exploit development.
• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
• Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
