Overview

Due to continued growth, ENERCON Federal Services is seeking a Manager, PMO. In this role, you will manage project management processes, ensuring resource allocation, and driving the successful delivery of the organization's strategic initiatives. This exciting position can be located in the following locations:

Responsibilities

The Manager, PMO role is responsible for the supervision and oversight of project managers executing multiple projects, both large and small. Business specialties include EVMS, sub-contract procurement, P6 schedule review, interactive project planning, ASME NQA-1, client management, and business development. Utilizing experience with the principles and methods of multi-discipline engineering design and construction, the Manager, PMO is expected to develop a positive reputation among DOE contemporaries and to build and maintain key client relationships, including those throughout the DOE complex and other government entities.

  • Leadership & Oversight: Report to the Senior Manager, PMO for EFS and is accountable for the day-to-day leadership and direction of the assigned project managers and project portfolios. Act as central point of contact for multiple project managers regarding the EFS portfolio in the assigned region. Perform monthly reviews with EFS and Enercon Leadership discussing cost, schedule, EV, ETC versus EAC, and overall project portfolio status

  • Communication & Coordination: Communicate with internal project teams, client stakeholders, and end users to clarify and coordinate assigned tasks and issue resolutions. Monitor project correspondence, disseminate Leadership information, review project reports, and escalate high risk concerns / issues to EFS Leadership. Prepare correspondence, general communications, and/or material for special meetings and presentations

  • Project Planning & Metrics: Work with project managers and project analysts to define overall project metrics, expectations, and critical success factors to ensure alignment with the strategies of EFS' goals and objectives. Work with project managers and project analysts to establish labor and expense budgets, baseline schedules, and technical baselines, while providing effective oversight of direct and matrixed personnel to control those baselines

  • Reporting & Analysis: Compile and analyze information for the preparation of routine and ad-hoc reports for EFS Leadership. Coordinate with Senior Manager, PMO to develop protocols for reporting project progress on a defined time schedule and to ensure project compliance with all applicable Enercon Project Operations Manual, Quality Management System, and client processes and procedures

  • Proposal Support & Recruitment: Provide guidance in the development of proposals, as well as supervisory review of proposals to support a winning strategy and cost. Participate in recruiting new resources for the Project Management Organization to support EFS growth goals



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the federal industry
  • Project Management Professional certification preferred
  • Experience in multi-discipline engineering design projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
  • Ability to initiate teamwork, exercise good judgment, prioritize projects, and provide excellent leadership to all projects
  • Ability to travel 10 - 15%; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs
  • Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
  • Must be a US Citizen


Pay Range

USD $125,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.

  • If a salary range is listed, it reflects the typical range for this full-time position based on the role, level, and location. Individual compensation within the range will be determined by factors such as work location, relevant experience, job-related skills, and education or training.
