Quality Manager

We're seeking a Quality Manager who's ready to take ownership of all plant-level Quality Assurance functions-from new product launch through every stage of its life cycle. This is your chance to lead a cross-functional team, collaborate with internal and external partners, and ensure that every product we deliver meets the highest standards of reliability and safety.


What You'll Do


  • Champion Quality: Build and maintain procedures that set the bar for quality, reliability, and safety.



  • Set Standards & Enforce Compliance: Align requirements with real-world company needs, regulations, and product development goals.



  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead companywide quality initiatives and introduce innovative techniques to keep our processes sharp.



  • Lead the QMS: Implement and maintain our Quality Management System (AS9100/ISO 9001), reporting performance metrics to senior leadership and driving ongoing improvement.



  • Be the Bridge: Act as the primary liaison with customers and external parties regarding all things quality.



  • Guide Advanced Planning: Oversee APQP activities, including Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP submissions.



  • Mentor & Grow Talent: Build a strong, future-ready quality team through career development and succession planning.



  • Empower Data-Driven Decisions: Lead efforts in data collection, control charting, and statistical analysis to improve processes.



  • Ensure Precision: Manage the Quality Control Lab and Technicians, ensuring all monitoring and measuring devices are accurate and calibrated.



  • Collaborate Across Teams: Participate in production meetings, working closely with sales, engineering, and manufacturing to maintain seamless operations.




What You Bring


  • Education & Experience:




    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience) and 4-5 years in a senior quality engineering role; OR



    • Technical degree with 5+ years in quality management or senior engineering.





  • Technical Mastery: Proficiency in quality tools like SPC, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, Gage R&R, and Capability Analysis.



  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical ability to identify root causes, interpret technical data, and create actionable solutions.



  • Lean Mindset: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and their application-automotive industry experience is a plus.



  • Leadership DNA: Excellent communication and team-building skills to inspire, coach, and develop your department.
