Job Title: FSA Software Validation Communications Specialist

Location: Allen Park, MI.


Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or Similar Discipline.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple dynamic priorities.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of organizing and managing numerous projects simultaneously from inception/feasibility through implementation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with other areas of Service Engineering Operations (SEO), Engineers, Marketing, and management on a regular basis.
  • Analytical abilities to collect, organize, and interpret data to help drive decisions and execute projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience and confidence in delivering presentations to diverse audiences (a plus).
  • Ability to self-manage, be a team player, and demonstrate initiative.
  • Proven skills to liaise effectively between teams and vendors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work in white space and support new processes.
  • Experience or firm understanding of the automotive service repair process.




Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated communications support and planning for ongoing software validation project initiatives globally.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy, both internally to OEM and externally to dealers.
  • Manage communications related to emerging issues and concerns to keep internal and external partners informed.
  • Attend daily meetings as required to stay abreast of project status and provide updates.
  • Follow up diligently to ensure timely delivery of all project components and tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met and escalate any impediments as necessary.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues at an early stage.
  • Contribute to the development of communications plans for critical or newly emerging issues.

The Communications Specialist will be responsible for the following deliverables:

  • Communicate a daily status letter internally to OEM stakeholders.
  • Manage macro communications on externally facing OEM sites relevant to the software validation project.
  • Coordinate presentations for multiple dealer-facing meetings (e.g., Technician Review Panel, Warranty Admin Panel, Parts and Service Manager Council).
  • Coordinate message board communications related to the project.
