Co-ops will work part-time hours during the school year and will work full-time hours during the summer.

The Wheel Loader Product Development team is responsible for advancing both new product development and maintaining current production vehicles. By using engineering problem-solving skills, the team investigates failures, develops solutions, and implements design updates that ensure performance, durability, and safety in CNH's construction equipment.

As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op, you will be a contributing member of the product development team, supporting projects across the full product lifecycle. This role provides hands-on experience in design, testing, validation, and implementation while collaborating with a cross-functional engineering group.

Your responsibilities may include:

  Performing 3D solid modeling of parts and assemblies that meet design and performance objectives

  Creating work orders to procure parts, initiate tests, and assemble parts on machines

  
  
• 
  

  Updating vehicle Bills of Material (BOMs) to support part releases and vehicle updates

  
  
• 
  

  Investigating failures identified through testing or warranty analysis, performing root cause analysis, and designing corrective solutions

  
  
• 
  

  Verifying fixes through lab and field testing and implementing validated solutions into production

  
  
• 
  

  Participating in and supporting prototype builds and product launches

  
  
• 
  

  Providing technical support for exploring and championing new technologies

  Collaborating with a cross-functional product development team to achieve project objectives

  
  

Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor's degree in Mechnical Engineering or a related field.

The annual salary for this role is USD$19.00 - $31.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
