Here's what you'd do:

  • The Senior Quality Management Systems Specialist position will conduct activities related to the client's Quality Management System in all ISO 9001:2015/AS9100 QMS areas.
  • Under general direction from the site Quality leader, this position will lead in quality systems coordination, Internal Audit Planning, and QMS Document reviews, updates, and migration of Command Media documentation to a SharePoint site.
  • Coordinating and administering the migration of the QMS Documentation from the existing website and backend file shares to the client Command Media SharePoint site.
  • Internal audit system management will include CAB support.
  • QMS Document control activities to review, update, and release.
  • Corrective Action logs.
  • QMS-related Training record management.
  • Support maintenance and improvement of the quality system and documentation supporting the site.
  • Updates & maintains the Quality Records matrix and organizes quality records for electronic archive and transfer to an off-site source where applicable.
  • Supports, reviews, and audits purchasing activities to ensure ASL adherence with supplier quality flowdown of quality clauses for outside processing orders and compliance with requirements.
  • Identify internal control issues/exceptions and ensure they are well-defined, the root causes are analyzed and discussed, and the agreement with management is reached.
  • Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring equipment discrepancies.
  • Manages site corrective action logs and schedules weekly meetings to address outstanding corrective actions.
  • Interface and communicate with personnel effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Initiate and follow up on Internal Corrective Action Reports for the audit program.
  • Support the Material Review Board (MRB) for QMS compliance.
  • Assist in defect tracking and evaluation process, including trend evaluation to reduce recurrences(As directed by the Q.A. Manager).
  • Assist in implementing Procedure Review, cross-reference matrix, and Parent-child relation development.
  • Uses various process methods and tools, including Excel, SharePoint, and eQMS workflows, to track procedure updates for approvals.
  • Manages site training matrix and requirements, scheduling, and delivering training as needed to maintain compliance.
  • Ensures the quality management system and records are kept current and conform to ISO 9001:2015/AS9100:2016, DCMA, and other relevant standards as needed.
  • Executes internal audits competently and with minimal supervision.
  • Measure, monitor, and report to leadership while collaborating with functional leads on trends, actions, improvement opportunities, and effectiveness of the internal audit process.

Pay: $100.00 / hr.

Hours: 9/80 hrs/Week. (1st shift).

Length: Temp (4 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in auditing and managing systems aligned with AS9100:2016, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 19011.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a SharePoint site admin/owner for document control management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process auditing focused on AS9100 and ISO9001 requirements in an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in performing internal audits for AS9100 compliance.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in nonconformance and corrective action database systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a heavily regulated industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in leading and managing internal audits.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability to assess risk and suggest changes and updates to PEARs.
  • Capable of preparing and following through with audits of all types and scopes.
  • Ability to work with all levels and functions within the organization.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • MS Office suite of programs.
  • Familiar with navigation of OASIS and NADCAP databases.
  • ETQ EQMS platform Document Control experience.
  • Experience in SAP Quality and purchasing module workflows.
  • An understanding of the requirements and ability to conduct quality audits and generate audit reports.
  • Ability to calculate Corrective Action Board CAB Key Process Metrics, and Charts presentation creation.
  • Experience with 8D Problem Solving.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Certification/Training in SharePoint Online O365 as a site administrator.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Aerospace, Space, Medical, and Defense industry experience.
  • AS9100 expertise, Deep knowledge of QMS structure, internal audits, and corrective actions.
  • Lead Auditor Certification preferred.
  • Problem-solving methodology Proficient in tools like 8D, FMEA, 5-Whys, and Pareto analysis.
  • Quality metrics analysis, understanding of quality data, trend analysis, and KPI management.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with internal teams and external customers.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to ensure accurate documentation and compliance at all times.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

  • Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
