Description and Requirements
Lenovo is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Morrisville, North Carolina
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct payroll processing duties with meticulous attention to detail, focusing on audits for assigned countries to maintain payroll accuracy above 99.95% and ensure 99.95% timeliness.
  • Process stock vesting and relocation entries promptly upon receipt.
  • Stay updated on US and Canada payroll parameters and statutory changes, ensuring alignment with current regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR Service Center, local HR operation teams, HRP, and payroll vendors to execute daily payroll activities and resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Follow up on tasks assigned by the Payroll Manager/Team Leads and address daily payroll cases raised by stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with various teams including LTI, ESPP, HRIS, and HRSC on payroll matters.
  • Undertake additional projects assigned by the Payroll Manager.
  • Independently handle complex payroll issues.
  • Responsible for funding amounts up to $100 million for ongoing payrolls.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in end-to-end payment processing
  • Able to come into the office 2-3 days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Workday payroll experience
  • Larger company experience
