Description and Requirements

We are hiring an Associate Quality Engineer to join our growing team. This role is based in Whitsett, NC. Onsite presence is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and standards.
  • Conduct audits and inspections of production processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Perform root cause analysis and corrective action plans for any non-conformities or quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and suppliers, to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of inspection plans, testing methods, and documentation for products.
  • Ensure all necessary testing (e.g., durability, safety, functionality) is conducted and meets quality standards.
  • Maintain and update quality control documentation, including inspection reports, corrective action records, and test results.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for employees regarding quality standards and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance with changing quality requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferably Dec 2024 or May 2025 graduation dates).
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards, procedures, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, SPC).
  • Quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.) and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in using quality testing equipment and software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
