What You'll Do:

OCC is seeking an individual who would be responsible for discovering, synthesizing, and analyzing information from a variety of internal and external sources, including tools, processes, documentation, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a proven change agent that demonstrates the ability to solve complex problems through logical, digestible solutions that deliver key value to our stakeholders. Additionally, this individual must be comfortable communicating to all levels of the organization as well as inside and outside the organization. Skills that are foundational to the success of this role include, but are not limited to, communication, analytical, problem solving, process modelling, facilitation, elicitation, scope management, leadership and agile mindset.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.

Lead the Business Analysis Center of Excellence:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide standards, templates, and guidelines for business analysis practices, ensuring consistency across teams.

  • Conduct outreach across the BSA team and organization to identify opportunities for improvement and pain points.

  • Provide training, mentoring and support to business system analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Act as a knowledge hub by researching and promoting best-in-class frameworks (e.g., IIBA, COBIT, ITIL) for business analysis.

  • Create metrics to measure and improve the impact of the business analysis function.

  • Advise BSA leadership on the strategic role of the practice in achieving organization goals, aligning CoE efforts with enterprise priorities.

Drive Change Management Initiatives:

  • Develop and execute on change management strategies to support the adoption of new processes, systems, and standards introduced by the CoE or broader organization initiatives.

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication to ensure buy-in for new business analysis practice, tools, or organizational change.

  • Monitor adoption of changes, measure success, and adjust strategy for long-term sustainability.

Act as a Strategic Partner to Leadership

  • Serve as the liaison between executive leadership, governance, process owners, lines of defense and other departments ensuring alignment between business analysis practices and organizational goals.

  • Handle high-level communication and stakeholder management on behalf of leadership, ensuring clarity and alignment across enterprise.

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership on process improvements.

  • None

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile and software development.

  • 5+ years of experience in business system analysis, consulting or related experience

  • Preferred business experience in clearinghouse activities.

  • Self-motivated and self-starting; working with little supervision and picking up new and unfamiliar concepts.

  • Experience using Confluence and Jira.

  • Experience building guides and training.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in process modeling tools such as draw.io.

  • Experience in different data management and visualization tools (SQL, Figma, Tableau, Business Objects, etc.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA/MS is a plus.

Certificates or Licenses:

  • CCBA, CBAP, AAC, and/or any related certification is a plus.

Compensation

  • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
  • In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
  • We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package as noted on www.theocc.com/careers
  • All employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, company and individual performance and are not guaranteed.

Salary Range

$98,300.00 - $136,500.00

Incentive Range

8% to 15%

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award, for which the target range is listed above (see Incentive Range). The amount of such award, if any, will be based on various factors, including without limitation, both individual and company performance.
