As a Security Professional - School Patrol - Morning Shift in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the campus, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will also provide outstanding customer service, offering assistance and clear communication to anyone in need. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas using a company vehicle and must meet Allied Universal's driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible presence on the premises.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and designated areas as required by site-specific policies.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
