As a Security Professional - Healthcare Facility - Full Time in Arleta, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare-related location, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for visitors, staff, and patients. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, being a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. You will respond to incidents, observe and report activities, and assist with access control and badge verification as needed. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and/or concerns to Allied Universal management and site leadership as required.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with inquiries and directions while maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as needed, and reporting any irregularities.
• Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
