As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for all staff, visitors, and patients. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. This position requires you to be armed, and you will be expected to respond professionally to any situations that may arise, always prioritizing communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $20.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding as appropriate to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and healthcare staff to address security-related needs and maintain a secure environment.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required by site protocols.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
