Supply Chain Analyst

We are currently recruiting highly qualified candidates, whose background and career goals meet our needs, for the following position in our Huntsville, AL facility. Please note that due to our Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

Supply Chain Analyst

Nature of Duties:

• Position requires person to be a professional, self motivated person withnegotiation skills
• Enhance the supply chain through data and cost analysis in order tominimize material costs within the region.
• Interface with the supply base, supply chain peers and plant level teams
• Follow strategies forfocus areas to include material cost optimization and inventory management.
• Candidate will possessproblem solving skills in order to assist in resolvinga wide range of issues involving plant and/or supplier inquiries, complaints, or special requests.
• Timely, accurate, and thorough communication through telephone, email, and face to face meetings.
• Collaborate with management, plant programs teams to improve the cost reduction process from data collected.
• Candidate will be required to develop and report cost management related metrics and analysis

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or years of experience in lieu of degree
• 5+ years experience in Supply Chain, preferably in the contract manufacturing field
• Must be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to analyze data and negotiate
• Oracle experience is a plus
