Position Title: QA Tech
Wage: $19.00 per hour Shift: 2nd, Nights Hours: 2:00pm-10:00pm (Mon-Fri); 5:00pm-5:00am (2-2-3) We're hiring for a QA Tech role for a company in Britt, IA. QA Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Ensure food safety and quality of products. - Report any issues affecting food safety, quality, or personnel safety. - Follow USDA, FSIS, FDA, customer, and company guidelines. - Collect in-process and finished product samples and conduct tests. - Use SAP to access product specifications, formulas, and mixing instructions. - Assist with training production staff on food safety and quality standards. - Conduct pre-op and operational inspections. - Documenting and reporting any quality issues. - Calibrate testing equipment and follow up on any issues. - Adhere to safe work practices, GMPs, and sanitary procedures. QA Tech Requirements: - Standing in one spot for 8-10-hour days. - Repetitive reaching, bending, and lifting. - Repetitive lifting of 20-40 lbs. and on occasion 70 lbs. - Repetitive motions with shoulders and wrists - gripping, reaching, squeezing. - Working for prolonged hours in 35-40-degree temperatures. - Candidates *MUST HAVE* a proven track record of several years of solid work history.
