The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Associate Registrar, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining the academic record of students, which includes processing withdrawals from the University, changes of program, and other academic related records. The incumbent provides information on school-specific rules and regulations, policy and procedure for faculty and administrators in response to in-person, telephone, and written inquiries. Responsible for data entry and performs additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities



  • Processes all student withdrawals from the University in the Student Information System (SIS) and Withdrawal from system of record through on-line data entry; inputs statistical data and registration information to ensure compliance with University policy and procedures.
  • Responsible for processing staff records in SIS so that instructor and advisor records can migrate to other systems.
  • Maintains the integrity of changes to academic records including change of grades and adjustments that schools are unable to process via SSOL/Vergil.
  • Resolves problems related to demographic data, registration, grades, and other student status areas for faculty and administrators.
  • Responds to in-person, telephone and written inquiries and directs inquiries, as needed, to the appropriate university office, or outside agencies.
  • Understands and interprets university and school-specific policies and procedures; knowledge of FERPA expected.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years related experience.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Some college preferred.
  • Familiarity with Student Information System (SIS) preferred.
