This Position reports to:

Production Supervisor

Welder - ABB

The work model for the role is: Onsite, Bartlesville, OK

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on critical components for level products, including hydrostatic pressure testing and necessary repairs.
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
  • Inspect materials and production continuously to ensure welds meet ABB's quality standards.
  • Support production by assisting leads, training others, and completing additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications for the role:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of TIG (GTAW) welding experience on thin gauge (.020"-.050") Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Hastelloy
  • Ability to set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting amps, polarity, and shielding gases
  • Demonstrated experience reading engineering drawings and specifications
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Familiarity with hydrostatic pressure testing procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to train or mentor others in welding techniques
